From March 21 – 24, 2024, the German Orchid Society will host the European Orchid Council Conference and Exhibition 2024 (EOCCE 2024) as part of the DRESDNER OSTERN fair. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend. Further information like a program of the event or a list of exhibitors as well as the possibility to register as a congress participant, exhibitor or judge will be made available later via this website.

Ever since it was founded in 1906, the Deutsche Orchideen-Gesellschaft e. V. (DOG) to promote orchid science and make it accessible to all interested parties. Wie unterschiedlich das Interesse an Orchideen sein kann, zeigen bereits die Mitglieder: Weltweit zählt die D.O.G. fast 3.000 Mitglieder – vom einfachen Blumenfreund bis hin zum Botaniker, Züchter und Großgärtner. They all use the offers of the DOG and are committed to the club’s goals. Everyone contributes their part: Be it as a collector of orchid motifs on stamps or coins, as a cultivator on the windowsill, in the showcase or in your own greenhouse, or as a filmmaker or author of books on orchids.
